The Charm of Mini-Paris

Until the opening of its Avengers Campus last year, the most beautiful and elaborate part of Paris' Walt Disney Studios park was most definitely its Ratatouille mini-land--a noticeable step-up in quality, immersion, and theming compared to the rest of the movie-themed park.  This was an area that actually felt like it had place-making, where the ambiance was charming, and where the details were wrought with lovely attention.  Although it might have been odd to have something Parisian-themed right outside of Paris (then again, Disney California Adventure was an ode to California, located in California), the superior environment was worth it.  No surprise that this area remained pretty popular even five years after it first opened, when I took the photo below.

And just for scientific research, perhaps I should go back to Disneyland Paris to see if its new Avengers Campus is an even more evocative land!
