Rare is the day I make it to Disney California Adventure early enough to catch golden hour at Grizzly Peak. The presence of the six story Grand Californian Hotel means the sun disappears over the "horizon" earlier in the day than elsewhere. But on the back trails of Grizzley Peak, the angle is less sharp, and the beautiful light lasts a little longer. So here, along this trail that most people actually skip, is a fantastic opportunity to capture a relatively people-free photo. And the wonderful evergreens really lend some realism to the illusion of this being a forest. Wouldn't you love to camp out and wait for the stars to unfurl?
