The Last Vestiges of the Holidays

Today marks the end of the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort.  Yes, it's a Wednesday, and though the holiday season used to end on a Sunday, the last two or three years, the Disneyland Resort has ended their Christmas time festivities in the middle of the week.  I'm not exactly sure why--whether it's some sort of business decision or an alignment to school break periods. But such is the case.  And I thought this photo of a foggy Main Street from a couple of Sundays ago was a fitting scene to see off this holiday season.  It's as though the holidays are fading back into the veil from which they came, biding their time until they show up again next July (at least in retail).  With that, this blog's holiday posts will also conclude, and we'll go back to secular posts until the next seasonal event.

Hope you all have had an enjoyable and meaningful holidays!  We march forward in 2026!
