Departing the Station

I didn't exactly mean to do this when I shot the photo, but when I was editing this picture, I noticed that there was a bit of a soft focus around the composition.  This turned out to be a happy accident, because it went well with the warm, fading light of golden hour.  Coupled with the process of the C.K. Holiday locomotive chugging out of the station, this image seemed to be bidding adieu to the daytime.  And of course, Disneyland charges with excitement come nighttime, but that doesn't mean this very pleasant time of day does have its own merits either!

The caboose brings up the end of the C.K. Holiday and rolls out of Main Street Station.
What's your favorite time of the day at Disneyland? Is it around the afternoon sunset, when warm fills an already-magical ambiance? Or the electric magic of Disneyland after dark? Or perhaps it's the bustle of the peak of the day?  Share your thoughts in the comments box!
