The Tower Hotel

You'd think that the Tower of Terror wouldn't seem as menacing if viewed from a higher elevation.  After all, the higher you are, the less the tower looms over you.  And yet, I think this angle of the iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel seems even more intimidating, because it emphasizes how much it towers over the trees and surrounding environment.  The building seems to have its own personality--a sinister sentinel standing guard over the rest of Hollywood Land.

Well, at least it's a very pretty sight on a wonderful Southern Californian afternoon below.
