The Mountain O'er the Briar Patch

I don't really remember a Disneyland without Splash Mountain, although I've certainly been to the park before it opened.  But being a more intense ride, my parents never really took me over to that corner of the park, especially since they themselves were not fans of anything with a drop--large or small!  It wasn't until I was older--probably closer to junior high than the opposite--that I took my first ride.  But what an exciting ride it was!  Whimsical animatronics, immersive theming, surprise dips, and of course, that world-famous stomach-lurching drop of a finale!  And on a hot summer day, this was certainly the ride to be on, especially when judging by the two hour lines Splash Mountain routinely commanded on peak days.  Nothing to fret over, though... a zip-a-dee-doh-dah time is worth the wait!

  2. Hi, Nan!! Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm glad you enjoy the photos. It's my point to take a place I love and share its best via a medium I love and happen to be decently good at! :)
